The Business Intelligence & Planning Department is dedicated to empowering informed decision-making and driving strategic growth through comprehensive financial planning, data-driven insights, and governance excellence. Role Description:
As an Underwriting Portfolio Management Analyst, you will support the Underwriting Portfolio Management (UPM) function by transforming internal and external data into actionable intelligence that improves business decisions. You will analyze portfolio performance, evaluate competitive positioning, identify emerging market trends, and uncover strategic opportunities. Working closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, business intelligence, and advanced analytics teams, you will translate complex business questions into analytical solutions and meaningful recommendations.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end data analysis projects, continually identifying opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and insight generation. You will source, validate, and analyze internal and external data; apply business and insurance knowledge to interpret findings; develop intuitive and compelling visualizations; and communicate insights through clear written deliverables and engaging presentations. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, strong analytical capabilities, insurance acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable business insights.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $66,500 to $86,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
