Position Summary

Join a growing team in Philadelphia, PA supporting a commercial casualty book of business primarily comprised of construction and real estate clients. This role focuses on account servicing, renewals, and marketing, partnering closely with brokers, carrier partners, and clients to deliver exceptional service and coverage solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of commercial insurance experience from a retail agency or wholesale brokerage with a strong understanding of commercial casualty accounts.

What will your job entail?

  • Manage the renewal process for a commercial casualty book focused on construction and real estate risks.
  • Prepare and market new and renewal submissions to carrier and wholesale partners.
  • Review quotes, binders, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with brokers, underwriters, clients, and internal teams throughout the placement and servicing process.
  • Support coverage analysis, renewal strategy development, and account retention efforts.
  • Maintain accurate policy and client information within agency management systems.
  • Assist with endorsements, certificates, invoicing issues, audits, and cancellation management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial insurance experience within a retail agency, wholesale brokerage, MGA/MGU, or insurance carrier.
  • Experience supporting renewals, marketing, and account servicing activities.
  • Knowledge of commercial casualty coverages, including General Liability, Umbrella, Excess Liability, and related lines.
  • Experience supporting construction, real estate, contractors, habitational, environmental, or similar casualty-focused accounts preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty license preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
