What you will do

The Inside Sales Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the inside sales organization, driving premium growth, profitability, retention, and agency engagement. Through disciplined sales management, team development, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures consistent execution of sales strategies while advancing the company's virtual sales model and delivering exceptional results across assigned territories and agency partners.

Sales Performance & Execution- Lead the achievement of sales goals, including new and total written premium, policy growth, retention, and profitability; Develop sales strategies, establish clear sales targets and activity expectations, monitor results, and drive accountability across the team; Manage pipeline health, forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure consistent execution and informed decision-making.

Team Leadership & Development- Manage, develop, and coach a team to build a high-performing, results-driven culture; Provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance management to improve sales effectiveness and individual growth; Foster a culture of accountability, high discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Agency & Territory Strategy- Oversee agency segmentation, assignment, and engagement strategies to maximize coverage and productivity; Align agency strategies with regional priorities to drive targeted growth in key segments and geographies; Strengthen relationships with agencies through consistent engagement and value-added support.

Data, CRM & Operational Excellence- Leverage CRM as the central hub with integration of TalkDesk and related tools for sales activity, call tracking, pipeline management, and performance measure; Analyze sales data and market insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; Drive adoption of tools, reporting, and best practices to enhance productivity and decision-making; Responsible for pre- and post-performance analytics, including campaign, agency, and sales initiative results, to measure effectiveness, and recommend adjustments.

Cross-Functional Partnership- Partner with regional sales team and underwriting teams to align on strategy, appetite, and execution; Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute targeted sequential campaigns that drive agent engagement and production.

Process Improvement & Innovation- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve the agent experience; Support the evolution of the virtual sales model, incorporating new tools, technologies, and best practices; Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and adherence to company guidelines.

Market & Competitive Intelligence- Monitor marketplace trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy and positioning; Adjust sales approaches and priorities based on changing market conditions and opportunities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.

What you need

  • 4-7 years Commercial Lines Sales Leadership preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Hybrid

Salary Range:

$106,000 - $145,000

**The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.**

  • This position also comes with eligibility for Variable Compensation Bonus plan
