Job Description

RSUI has a fantastic opportunity for a collaborative and service-focused TPA Claims Examiner to join our commercial E&S Property Claims unit in Atlanta, Georgia! The TPA Claims Examiner oversees the TPA’s workflow in compliance with service agreements and billing guidelines, to ensure timely claims handling and resolution.

Strong working relationships are a key component of RSUI’s team-oriented, high-performance culture. Our specialized area of industry focus requires real-time, in-person collaboration that fosters meaningful dialogue and strengthens professional connections. Team meetings, employee events, and other work obligations also often require an in-person presence. This position will work RSUI’s hybrid schedule, which requires three days weekly in the office.

Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for completing new assignments to the TPAs.
  • Timely completion of the CNRs, when warranted.
  • Timely monitoring of TPAs progress via diary.
  • Ensure claim files are documented timely and appropriately.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to TPAs on losses that exceed their authority.
  • Provide assistance on reserves, payments, revision, closings, etc., on TPA Claims.
  • Responsible for TPA monthly reports as needed for the team.
  • Assist with annual audits of the TPA firms.
  • Attends business related functions, such as team meetings, mediations, trials, company events, etc.
  • May perform other related tasks as assigned, depending on business need.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred; equivalent business experience required.
  • 3+ years of property claims experience required; commercial property claims experience preferred.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a Georgia Adjuster’s License.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Decision making, prioritizing, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Requires an excellent understanding and skill level of internal & external customer service.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word and Excel).
