Job Description Summary
The Employee Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for providing support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, training and servicing of Employee Benefits Accounts.
Essential Duties and Reponsibilities
- Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing employee benefits accounts.
- Provide assistance to Producers in handling and processing new employee benefits business.
- Review renewal requests, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
- Obtain Renewal information requested by the company underwriter.
- Prepare Pre-Renewal Packets and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier.
- Proof policies and contracts for accuracy of coverages.
- Assist in solving escalated service issues with manager/Producer and decide proper course of action.
- Coordinate client education and communication needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel.
- Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge in conjunction with The Ansay Way to the highest level possible.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (from an accredited university) in Business or related field
- Minimum of two years Employee Benefits experience
- Licensed per state requirements – or willing to obtain
- Self-starter, think outside the box, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written
- Detailed oriented and solid listening skills
- Team Player with a Can Do Attitude
