Overview AmTrust Financial Services has an immediate need for a  Paralegal  on its Midwest Workers' Compensation Staff Counsel team in Chicago. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Review and analyze files before scheduled hearings, including written pre-hearing reports for multiple attorneys; Pull, organize, and bookmark medical records on a regular basis; Schedule examinations with vendors and facilities; Work with vendors to request and obtain records via subpoena/medical authorization; follow up and organize/summarize upon receipt; Assist attorneys with research and drafting documents for litigation; Assist attorneys with answering and issuing discovery; Compose routine correspondence; Communicate by phone with attorneys, claims professionals, opposing counsel, medical providers, and courts; This is a deadline-driven work environment.
