- The Accounting Policy and Controls Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting policies and internal controls. This role ensures compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements, supports audit readiness, and drives continuous improvement in financial reporting processes. The director collaborates with internal and external auditors, leads remediation of audit findings, and supports the organization’s risk management objectives. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: Lead the evaluation and enhancement of internal controls over financial reporting, including quarterly attestation and walkthroughs of business processes.
