UFG is currently seeking a Surety Underwriter Trainee to join our growing Surety Department.  You will be provided on the job training that will teach you how to perform analysis of financial statements, review contractor applications, analyze credit reports and learn to use various sources to conduct research. The trainee program will guide you on how to make recommendations on existing and new business.   It will teach you how to determine acceptability of submissions and work toward a profitable and controlled level of growth.
