Description Liberty Mutual has an immediate opening for an Excess and Coverage Senior Technical Claims Specialist as part of our Excess, Coverage and Specialized Claims Unit.   In this role, under moderate direction, you will handle a book of Commercial Casualty Excess/Umbrella and Specialized claims, throughout the entire claims life cycle. Excess claim types include, but are not limited to, premises liability, auto, products, mass torts, employers liability, environmental, and specialty claim across the United States for both Coverage A and Coverage B claims on admitted and non-admitted paper. Description Under direct supervision, develops the knowledge and skills needed to conduct thorough investigations, make decisions about liability / compensability, evaluate losses, negotiate settlements and manage an inventory of commercial property/casualty and disability claims by participating in a comprehensive training program, one-on-one mentoring, and on-the-job training. Assists in providing service to policyholders/customers on mid-sized and/or large commercial accounts.   Training is a critical component of your success, and that success starts with reliable attendance. Attendance and active engagement during training are mandatory.
