Description The Principal Engineer performs the planning, organizing, analysis and evaluation of onshore energy (oil, gas, petrochemical and chemical) and non-civils construction risks, regardless of complexity, both on a desk review basis and on-site risk engineering surveys to provide risk assessments to enable underwriters to make accurate and profitable underwriting decisions. The role is also required to provide technical support to our Claims teams for assigned lines of business.   This is a senior position within Liberty Mutual, and the job holder is expected to provide leadership to ensure that the high standards of Liberty Mutual risk engineering are promoted and maintained.
