Primary Role: The Claims Specialist will be responsible for independently and proactively managing the Casualty and Workers Compensation claims program within our Commercial Lines Department Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and communicates claims issues with client, carrier or producer Reviews claim status regularly and follows up as needed Provides status reports to clients and keeps service teams informed as needed Researches and obtains claims data from carriers as needed Handles claims consistent with our clients and corporate policies, procedures and HUB Broker Standards and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements Responsible for keeping Broker Management System up to date with correspondence and/or notes on open claims Key Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Teamwork – Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
