Description The Bodily Injury Claims Specialist will investigate, manage and resolve Bodily Injury claims assigned directly with injured parties, as well as assist in providing service to policyholders. All qualified applicants will reside within a 50-mile radius of the Lake Mary, FL office.  There may be several in-office days per month for the first few months following initial virtual training to support your learning and to build relationships with leaders and others in the department.  This position requires a minimum of two days in office per month as the standard beyond the training period, with occasional additional days for special meetings a few times a year. The Telephonic Case Manager coordinates resources and develops cost-effective, personalized care plans for ill or injured individuals. The goal is to support quality treatment and, when appropriate, a timely return to work. This role uses clinical expertise to assess the appropriateness of current treatment plans based on the patient’s medical and physical condition. The Case Manager communicates directly with treating physicians to evaluate and recommend alternative care options when needed. They also explain medical conditions and treatment plans to patients, family members, and adjusters, while supporting the objectives of the Case Management department and of CorVel.
