SUMMARY: Customer Service Representative I is focused on providing administrative, data entry and policy issuance support. RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: Types policies and endorsements using the Policy Issuance and Microsoft Word systems. Daily entry of policies and endorsements into Century’s Information Management System (CIMS). Manages all policy and endorsement transactions in keeping with the Policy Services Standard Operating Procedures. Policies are checked for accuracy throughout all phases of the issuance process. Works effectively on the assigned team. System/Software Skills – Must learn all systems and stay current with changes and updates. Checks, analyzes, and classifies or alphabetizes materials. Conduct limited research when necessary. Successfully completes basic job specific training as defined in the Policy Services Training Matrix within the first three months of employment.
