- Multi-state commercial insurance carrier is seeking an Underwriting Assistant for the Passenger Transportation Division based in their Long Beach, NY location. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: Provide Support to Underwriters in determining acceptability, quality and profitability of new and existing business based upon company underwriting guidelines and objectives. Prepare various underwriting exhibits necessary for underwriter/management review Assist developing insurance proposals, approve endorsements, process binds, cancellations, non-renewals and obtain required underwriting approvals where needed.
