Duties and Responsibilities:   Directly handle, manage and/or oversee commercial and financial lines Public and Private D&O, Financial Institutions E&O, EPL, Fiduciary and Crime/Fidelity claims. Handle claims in accordance with Claim Handling Best Practices in all phases of the claim including through initial contact, investigation of the claim, evaluation the claim for coverage and reserving for exposure, and in the resolution and documentation of claims. SUMMARY:     Workers Compensation Defense Attorney needed for fully remote in-house litigation position, working under the direction of the General Counsel.  This attorney will work defending litigated Workers’ Compensation claims before the WCAB primarily in and surrounding Los Angeles, CA, and will handle a full caseload from referral through trial and/or arbitration.
