Higginbotham is currently seeing a Sr. Accountant for the Louisville, KY office. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day internal operations of the Captive Department, and accounting team support as needed. Essential Functions and Tasks: Perform internal accounting operations of the captive department including: Processing invoices, recording deposits and recording monthly adjustments Review and reconcile monthly investment activity Prepare monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory reports Coordinate tax return preparation with external CPA firm Review annual tax returns Documentation of workflows and standard operating procedures/internal controls Monitor cash flows and cash requirements Coordinate and supervise external audits of captives Develop and maintain proactive communication level with clients and other associates.
