Title: Retirement Benefits Clerk Department: Pension Union: UFCW 1546 Grade: 21 FLSA: Non-exempt Hours per week: 40 Position Summary The Retirement Benefits Clerk performs administrative and clerical duties associated with the verification of participants' retirement benefits applications in accordance with Company policies, regulatory requirements, and Plan guidelines. "Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role." Key Duties and Responsibilities Maintains current knowledge of assigned Plan(s). Verifies all required documents are received to process application. Reviews submitted documents for accuracy and completeness. Verifies that all required entries are completed. Verifies signatures have been provided where needed. Determines if additional or supplemental documentation is needed (e.g. QDRO, Social Security Earning report, historical data lookup)....
