The Production (Producing) Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and marketing accounts throughout approved states/territories. Develop new business, manage assigned agencies, select advantageous risks and build a profitable portfolio of accounts. Represent the Amynta Group and meet with identified insurance agencies to develop relationships with the agents and promote your company's products and services. Work with the underwriting department to analyze the financial risk of applicants that come in through that agency and determine if they qualify for coverage. Monitor loss ratios for Carriers and Agents and take corrective action when possible to remain profitable. Regularly make marketing presentations to prospective clients.
