About the role The DRLP provides oversight of surplus lines licensing compliance and regulatory adherence. This role ensures that surplus lines transactions are conducted in accordance with applicable state laws, licensing obligations and internal control standards. This position requires extensive knowledge of surplus lines requirements across multiple jurisdictions, advising business stakeholders and maintaining the compliance framework.    Key Responsibilities: Oversee processes related to affidavits and disclosures, premium tax reporting and remittance, stamping office submissions, broker responsible forms and policy documentation and record retention. Monitor regulatory bulletins and assess operational impact. Partner with Legal and Compliance to maintain and enhance controls supporting surplus lines activities.
