Under direct supervision assist underwriters in front line underwriting of an assigned territory. Evaluate new business, renewals and endorsements for personal auto, property and liability risks for acceptance or denial in accordance with Company Underwriting Guidelines and Philosophies. Demonstrate excellent clerical and technical skills. Interact with agents, other company personnel and outside vendors. Refer all items outside authority level to underwriter. Key Responsibilities Assist underwriters with reviewing and evaluating new business, renewals and endorsements for Homeowner, Automobile, Personal Umbrella, and Dwelling Fire policies to determine acceptability within assigned authority level.
