Overview AmTrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager. The Workers Compensation Claims Manager is responsible to supervise activities within the worker compensation lost time claims department. This may encompass supervision of administrative tasks and staff or oversight of the investigation of insurance claims involving workers compensation, property or casualty claims based on coverage, appraisal and verifiable injury or damage. This position involves the direct handling of tasks and/or claims in addition to supervision of staff. Overview The Underwriter administers the underwriting and servicing of renewal accounts for brokers and producers assigned within the territory in compliance with company underwriting, authority, and pricing standards upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization. Responsibilities Researches and develops new classes of business as directed.  Researches market trends and competition.  Assesses market viability, suggest form wording on endorsements and exclusions and supports rate changes based on global strategy.   Reviews individual risks with assigned brokers and either declines or accepts business based upon information necessary to make the decision.  Analyzes, with the highest level of technical expertise and accuracy, exposures to loss, develops an adequate premium charge for the exposure, determine endorsements and exclusions to address loss exposures for the insurance contract, including developing manuscript...
