The Database Administration team is responsible for supporting Acuity's installations of Db2, Microsoft SQL, Postgres, and Hive across multiple platforms. They perform table and authorization changes on our databases, and the installation and maintenance of those database systems, either on their own or in conjunction with the Open Engineering - Data team. The Database Administration team supports both custom databases as well as databases provided by third party applications. The Enterprise Data team is responsible for maintaining the servers and applications related to the storage, processing, and reporting of data collected by Acuity. This teams supports the installations of Db2, Microsoft SQL, and PostgreSQL databases, along with Hadoop and its related services. This team works in conjunction with the Database Administration team to configure and maintain the databases that run on those platforms.
