Description The selected candidate will underwrite construction-related insurance risks within assigned authority, applying independent, analytical, data-driven judgment to evaluate and price accounts. Works with limited guidance from leadership to accept, modify or decline business, focusing on construction contractors, subcontractors, developers, and related project risks.   To be considered for this role, candidates must reside within the specified geographic location. Description This position is a hybrid Underwriting Support/Underwriting role which provides operational and underwriting support to the National Bond Center Commercial Surety underwriting team.  The role will primarily support the underwriting team with highly responsive service by managing new business submissions, preparing prep guides, entering financial statements and serve as a resource to agents for assistance with bond issuance and billing systems.
