Reporting to the CFO, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on the full range of legal risk, from commercial contracting and M&A to governance, compliance, and disputes. You’ll own global commercial contract strategy end to end, negotiating and closing SaaS subscription agreements, enterprise licensing deals, channel and reseller arrangements, and data processing agreements across multiple jurisdictions, while building and leading a high-performing in-house legal team. More than a dozen departments of insurance have issued bulletins on the subject, with imagery recency limits running from 180 days to two years, constraints on what evidence supports an adverse action, and new disclosure and appeal requirements for consumers. Legislation is moving in several more states, and a national model act is in draft.
