The Paralegal for the General Claims (GC) Legal department provides paralegal support to in-house staff attorneys for claims-based legal matters, assists attorneys’ legal research, and monitors case and publication alerts through Westlaw and public dockets on important cases, regulations or statutes. The GC Legal Paralegal analyzes issues related to liens, child support judgments, and releases, and drafts correspondence, memoranda and pleadings under the close guidance of staff attorneys. This role serves as the first point of contact for policyholders, claimants or other parties reporting claims. As part of our FNOL team, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries concerning the claim process and collecting essential details about the incident, to accurately and efficiently establish new Auto, Property and Commercial claims.   This is a year-round, part-time position for students actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
