WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, has an immediate need for a Director of  Reserving to join its Actuarial team!  This individual will oversee the quarterly analysis of loss and loss adjustment expense reserves and provide data to the Finance Department for external financial reporting.  This individual will also conduct research into key drivers affecting loss reserves, including emerging types of claims, claim frequency and severity trends, and loss development patterns and diagnostics.  The position requires clear and engaging communication of information to Senior Leadership with effective data visuals on a frequent basis.    Reports directly  to Chief Actuary.        ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Manages and directs the work of the reserving team (e.g., Actuaries, Analysts), including keeping everyone on task to complete recurring assignments within tight timeframes....
