Control difficult and high exposure large truck and heavy equipment vehicle damage by monitoring the handling of physical damage claims to ensure quality and cost effectiveness. What You'll Do: As a Claims Appraiser - Large Trucks & Heavy Equipment, you will: Supervise and/or manage complex material damage appraisals for claims specific to heavy equipment and large trucks that typically have high loss exposures. Adhere to state-specific compliance issues for assigned jurisdictions. Evaluate losses and prepare or audit a damage appraisal, estimating the repairs needed for items such as labor costs, actual cash value, calculations, parts, and repairs prices. Conduct vehicle damage re-inspections of staff and independent appraisers to ensure accuracy and resolve any conflicts arising from the original inspection.
