Acuity is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Intern to supplement Service Claims from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm CST Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays are optional if additional hours are desired. In this role, you will answer incoming after hours Acuity telephone calls, enter new losses, follow escalation criteria, and page handlers when appropriate. This role provides backup for various units including Billing, Imaging, Policy Assembly, Mail Room, and Switchboard. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Answers incoming calls and handles them appropriately. Interns will load and verify operation of software such as operating system, word processors, and spreadsheets. This role will also troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user problems and makes minor repairs, while providing end user training and technical assistance to user. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Installation at the client workstations of the needed hardware and software. Also provide the assistance to keep the desktop systems running efficiently for the client location.
