Position Summary: The Group Captive Marketing Coordinator is a dual support role that will report directly to the agency’s marketing director (Captives), while also having a limited scope of administrative assistant responsibilities assigned by management.

Essential Tasks:
Captive Unit responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the compilation and completion of timely and accurate market submissions for captive new and renewal business to include, but not limited to:
- Cataloging and/or maintaining client submission records within the office share drives, agency management system (Epic), and other 3rd party software as appropriate and in accordance with agency standards as defined by the marketing
- Communicating with account managers as a liaison for the marketing director to ensure accurate data is obtained for captive supplemental applications.
- Interacting with (at the discretion of the marketing director) carriers, underwriters, or new business prospects to collect and provide data and information for decision making in the marketing process
- Analysis of contractual insurance requirements and client needs with agency
- Assist in requesting loss runs, claims analysis and other applicable items as it relates to captive new and renewal business
- Assist in preparing loss summaries with updated loss runs each year for captive new and renewal business
- Attending office and client meetings as needed
- Assisting with other marketing duties as assigned
Agency management responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating/scheduling business travel arrangements for Agency Managing Director
- Completing/submitting/maintaining business expense reports and supporting detail for Agency Managing Director/Producer
- Coordinating/Completing other administrative duties as assigned or requested

Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of property and casualty insurance related experience, preferably with an in-depth understanding of insurance
Licensing and Credentials:
- Active Property and Casualty license required (company will help candidate obtain licensure if needed)
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
