Associate Manager - Disability Insurance Marketing

Job Description

The Associate Manager - Disability Insurance Marketing will be responsible for the development, creative execution and implementation of marketing collateral, campaigns, and sales enablement for Guardian’s individual and Multi Life Disability Insurance products. You’ll have the opportunity to support our marketing managers on key initiatives, while also bringing your own projects and ideas to life. The key stakeholders and business areas you’ll work with also include our internal creative agency, communications, product, and sales distribution teams.

This position reports to the Head of Disability and Multi Life Marketing and you will be part of a dynamic team of product marketers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where creativity and organization go hand-in-hand to deliver an exceptional marketing experience to our consumers and sales professionals.

Candidate Responsibilities

The individual will work in collaboration with the Marketing, Communications, Product Development, and Distribution to meet the objectives of the business through the development of core marketing collateral. This includes social & email marketing, presentations, printed collateral, campaigns, sales enablement, and digital content that supports our individual disability and multi life lines of business.

The individual will need to stay abreast of marketing and consumer engagement trends, product development, and the competitive environment to bring fresh ideas and perspectives. Some responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate, revise, and develop materials for multi life and disability lines of business.
  • Create product content stories for consumers and sales professionals.
  • Develop digital assets (email, social, etc) for our consumers and sales professionals.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with partners to deliver content and communications.
  • Ensure compliance review and approval of content is achieved.
  • Multi-task, listen and activate on plan.
  • Ability to work and collaborate as a team member and also independently.
  • Collaborate, support and activate with team on campaigns.

  • Familiarity with social media and other digital marketing approaches.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • 2+ years experience in marketing.
  • Multi-channel marketing experience a plus.
  • Experience with digital marketing a plus.
  • Disability insurance marketing experience a plus.

Salary Range:

$70,930.00 - $106,390.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
