Position Summary: The Manager of New Partner & EB Operations is responsible for overseeing and supervising the coordination and optimization of the Employee Benefits Operations Team.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage Operations team, including conducting performance reviews, providing mentoring and coaching to ensure team growth.
Essential Tasks:.
- Oversee Carrier Management functions, including but not limited to Producer Appointments, Carrier on-site visits and presentations, online carrier portal access, and the Panel Carrier Program.
- Collaborate with carriers, new partners and internal team members to consolidate current New Partner contracts under Higginbotham's tax ID/producer numbers, ensuring that the New Partner's book of business is accurately reflected in supplemental compensation calculations.
- Support New Partner integration by maintaining the New Partner Project Plan using project management tools as necessary and supervise the coordination team. Act as liaison between New Partners and Higginbotham to answer questions, provide training on Operations and EB Day Two.
- Coordinate discovery meetings with New Partners to ensure a seamless transition to Higginbotham. Work closely with EB Regional Team Leads to help transition New Partners to Higginbotham structure.

Experience and Education:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Employee Benefits/Insurance industry
- A minimum of 2 years experience leading a team
- Project Management experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Licensing and Credentials:
- Active life and health license is preferred.
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Agency Management System (AMS) is acceptable.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
