Head of AI Enablement & Best Practices – FPRS

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and innovative leader to serve as the Head of AI Enablement & Best Practices for Financial Protection & Retirement Solutions (FPRS).

In this highly visible role, you will help democratize AI across FPRS by enabling broad, responsible adoption of readily available AI tools—including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and other enterprise‑approved GenAI and low‑code / no‑code agentic AI tools that enable workflow automation. The focus of this role is to unlock day‑to‑day business value by making AI accessible, practical, and scalable for non‑technical users across FPRS.

You will work closely with FPRS leaders and cross‑functional partners to ensure AI is applied in practical, repeatable, and scalable ways that improve day‑to‑day work, rather than remaining isolated to bespoke solutions fit for larger scale use cases or technical teams only.

A successful candidate will partner with business, technology, and enablement teams to identify common needs, patterns, and adoption challenges related to AI usage across FPRS. You will translate approved AI capabilities into standards, playbooks, prompts, and training assets, and collaborate with Business leaders to help teams integrate AI into everyday workflows—while ensuring performance thresholds are met, alignment with governance, risk, and compliance expectations (including writing and maintaining SOPs, when required). This job will require a healthy mix of hands-on building (e.g., writing prompts, creating training materials and user guides, etc.) where it makes sense, and helping others develop their own solutions where appropriate, ultimately contributing to more proficiency across the business overtime.

This role reports into the Head of Business Transformation & Program Mgmt. (FPRS). You will be working hand in hand with FPRS Product and Value Stream leaders, Enterprise AI Strategy & Transformation, Technology, Risk and Regulatory Controls, and HR and Learning teams. You will also play a key role in supporting and scaling the FPRS AI Champion program, accelerating peer‑to‑peer learning, and helping to drive higher velocity adoption of contemporary AI tools.

Your work will span across:

  • AI enablement and democratization – drive broad adoption of AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, etc.) across FPRS by defining practical guidance, standard usage patterns, and guardrails that enable non‑technical users to apply AI confidently in their daily work
  • Best practices, playbooks, and prompts – develop and maintain AI playbooks, reusable prompt libraries, and workflow examples; where appropriate, build and refine Copilot prompts that solve day‑to‑day business challenges while emphasizing reuse and scalability
  • Use‑case pattern scaling – partner with Product, Operations, Underwriting, and Service teams to identify, document, and scale repeatable AI use‑case patterns across Life, Disability, and Retirement, helping teams move from experimentation to standardized ways of working
  • AI literacy and workforce enablement – collaborate with HR and Learning partners to support role‑based AI literacy and adoption, integrating tools, prompts, and standards into broader change and learning efforts
  • AI Champion program enablement – support and help evolve the FPRS AI Champion network by providing guidance, prompt libraries, and feedback loops that surface adoption barriers, success stories, and opportunities for scale
  • Adoption insights and continuous improvement – analyze usage patterns, adoption trends, and qualitative feedback to identify friction points, inform improvements to enablement assets, and surface insights to FPRS leadership and enterprise partners
  • Sustainability and risk reduction – define handoff and sustainability standards to ensure AI tools, prompts, and automations remain maintainable over time, reducing key‑person dependency and inconsistent AI usage
  • Communication and alignment – communicate clearly with stakeholders across FPRS to share guidance, adoption insights, and enablement updates, fostering trust, transparency, and continuous learning

You are:

  • A practical, strategic problem‑solver who can translate emerging technology into simple, usable guidance that improves how people work day to day
  • Knowledgeable about AI productivity tools and trends, with experience supporting technology adoption and change in regulated environments
  • Highly collaborative, able to partner effectively across business, technology, risk, and enablement teams
  • Skilled at influencing without formal authority; comfortable working across functions and levels of the organization
  • Organized and adaptable, able to prioritize across multiple enablement initiatives and stakeholder needs
  • An effective communicator who can explain complex ideas clearly and credibly to diverse audiences
  • Curious and experimentation‑minded, with a strong bias toward learning, reuse, and continuous improvement

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in roles related to business transformation, technology enablement, digital productivity, or operational improvement
  • Demonstrated experience supporting adoption of tools or ways of working across complex organizations
  • Experience creating playbooks, standards, training assets, or communities of practice that scale capability beyond individual contributors
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with Copilot and GenAI tools strongly preferred

You will:

  • Have exposure to, and help shape, how AI is adopted across FPRS
  • Develop deep understanding of FPRS businesses, workflows, and customer journeys
  • Work closely with senior leaders while influencing outcomes through enablement rather than ownership
  • Be coached and supported by experienced leaders while continuing to grow as an enterprise‑minded leader

Salary Range:

$152,290.00 - $250,195.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
