Workflow-Underwriting (Hybrid)

Job Description

Workflow assists in the analysis of workflow efficiencies for the underwriting department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in compiling and preparing reports, graphs and charts that measure and illustrate work flow trends and key performance indicators.
  • Retrieve data from various internal and external sources and verify accuracy in preparation for analysis.
  • Run daily workflow counts.
  • Monthly rules audit of all automatic transactions.
  • Monitor queues for error and functionality.
  • Run reports for underwriting including loss reports, coupler, and quality assurance.
  • Assist in workflow program audits.
  • DMV reporting and monitoring.
  • Assist in the analysis of identifying best practices creating efficiency opportunities.
  • Run reports of other divisions requesting underwriting data.
  • Write workflow program request.
  • Create and preform presentations to underwriting on workflow results.
  • Assist with divisional priorities.
  • Assist in the maintenance of underwriting vendor database to add or update changes to vendor costs, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Answer questions on workflow processes within Underwriting and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of business experience

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Thorough working knowledge of rating, workflow processes, and PACE.
  • Basic knowledge of all transactions for all personal lines of business.
  • Organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and problem solving.
  • Good written, oral, and listening communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Professional approach to working independently or within a team.

Market Range: 5 / 37.5 hours per week / 2 days in office

Salary: $42,080-$65,457
