Title: Vice President (VP), Compensation and Total Rewards

Work Mode: Fully Remote Option | Location/Supporting: Supporting IOA Home Office, Longwood, FL Requirements: 12+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, with significant experience at the enterprise or global level.

About the Role: The Vice President (VP), Compensation & Total Rewards is a senior enterprise leader responsible for designing, executing, and continuously evolving IOA’s total rewards strategy. This role ensures compensation, benefits, wellbeing, recognition, and performance programs attract, motivate, and retain top talent while aligning with business strategy, financial objectives, and company culture. The VP serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board, balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, scalability, and cost discipline while mitigating people‑related and regulatory risk.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Total Rewards Strategy: Define and lead the enterprise total rewards strategy aligned with business priorities, growth plans, and talent objectives.
  • Rewards Philosophy & Governance: Establish and maintain a clear rewards philosophy supporting pay for performance, fairness, and inclusion, with strong governance and controls.
  • Executive Advisory: Advise the CEO, CPO, and Board/Compensation Committee on executive and leadership compensation matters.
  • Compensation Programs: Oversee global compensation programs including base pay, annual and long‑term incentives, sales compensation, and equity plans.
  • Job Architecture & Market Pricing: Lead job architecture, career leveling, and market pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with pay transparency, SOX, SEC, and applicable global labor and compensation regulations.
  • Benefits Strategy: Design and manage competitive, scalable benefits programs covering health, retirement, time off, and wellbeing.
  • Wellbeing & Employee Experience: Drive innovation in wellbeing, flexibility, and employee experience while managing cost, vendors, and program effectiveness.
  • Performance & Rewards Integration: Align rewards programs with performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Recognition Programs: Oversee recognition initiatives that reinforce company values and drive engagement.
  • Analytics & Insights: Use data and analytics to assess pay equity, ROI, workforce risk, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Annual Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual compensation cycles, incentive modeling, and cost forecasting in partnership with Finance.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high‑performing total rewards team, developing future leaders and functional capability.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and senior leaders to ensure a consistent enterprise employee experience.


Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred (Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field)
  • 12+ years of progressive total rewards experience, including enterprise or global scope
  • Proven executive leadership experience in compensation and benefits strategy
  • Strong expertise in executive compensation, equity programs, and governance
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements across rewards programs
  • Experience scaling total rewards in high‑growth or transformation environments
  • Outstanding communication, influence, and executive presence
  • Exceptional personal character, judgment, and integrity

Salary Range

The expected pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - 180,000.00 annually, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
