The Legal Support (Hybrid) will assist corporate counsel, managing attorneys and staff attorneys with the day-to-day management of the following duties: Updating case management system; Scheduling; Organizing case files for review by attorneys; Answering phone; Assisting with attorney billing system; and Dictation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Open, manage review dates, and close case files in the case management software system.
- Set up diary dates in the case management system and keep legal team up to date with schedule.
- Assist with scheduling examinations under oath, depositions, appearances, and meetings.
- Assist with maintaining diary date system to ensure that all appearances are covered, and case status updates remain in compliance with internal reporting standards.
- Assist by filling in straight forward discovery demand forms, case opening letters of representation, emails, and other various documents.
- Request discovery documents, organize and verify all requests have been received.
- Transcribe attorney dictation on cases within a timely fashion and in accordance with production standards put in place by management.
- Answer telephone calls and assist callers with questions and/or take messages.
- Assist with attorney billing system as point of contact to answer payment inquires and pay outstanding invoices.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Office experience

- Good computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word and Excel, record keeping, electronic mail and files, and web-based applications.
- Good time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, promptly, and courteously with internal division partners and vendors and customers.

Salary: $44,885 - $69,821
