Process Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Description

The Process Engineer is a strategic partner in identifying potential process engineering opportunities. This individual should be a self-directed change agent able to implement new initiatives across multiple departments in a systemic way, delivering substantial impact to the overall organization. They will be responsible for leading and facilitating cross-functional teams in the application of process engineering principles to design and/or optimize business processes and their overall performance. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to our business customers in matters related to operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage multiple initiatives of significant scope and complexity.
  • Independently with minimal supervision, perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes, or channels.
  • Conduct change management efforts of moderate to high complexity impacting one or multiple cross-functional processes.
  • Assemble key participants, lead, guide, and facilitate cross functional, collaborative teams in business improvement and development initiatives to optimize the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the process.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end service solutions based on Lean Six Sigma improvement methods, tools, and techniques ensuring analysis and suggested improvements are driven by data and direct observation rather than hunch.
  • Develop a deep understanding of root cause and pragmatic solutions to resolve business problems related to ineffective processes, roles, tools, and data.
  • Shape vision, mobilize commitment, and lead team to change process, systems, and structures to achieve vision.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues of an unusual nature.
  • Provide guidance to team members in the development and delivery of their work products critical to goal achievement and team success.
  • Partner with business to gather voice of the customer, voice of the process in order to build a solid business case.
  • Utilize knowledge of customers, products, and processes to analyze business problem(s) and determine the best methodology to resolve defect or issue.
  • Identify opportunities and potential process engineer solutions.
  • Provides company process insights to management.
  • Ability to work various hours depending on project needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education

  • High School Diploma and commensurate experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, mathematics or related field.

Experience

  • 2 years of leading projects of equivalent length and complexity.
  • 2 years process improvement and/or relevant business experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of data analysis, and industry tools and process engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (i.e. Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.).
  • Experience with business process management, risk management, and change management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills. Experience presenting to executive leadership.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced skills in using company software.
  • Ability to create and maintain process flow diagrams and documentation.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.

Market range 9 Non-Exempt / Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $59,819 - $96,375
