Property Claims Specialist (Commercial Property)

Job Description
Are you interested in working for a strong regional insurance company? This role is for a Property Claim Specialist within Commercial Claims.
This person can be located in Arizona or Colorado.
Duties:
- Timely and proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation and resolution of assigned property claims
- Typical claims are from $75K to upwards of $1M in loss
- Set reserves
- Write estimates and work with contractors
- Use vendors and experts when needed
- Requires travel to handled claims (Approximately 25% travel)
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years progressive property claims handling experience including severe and complex claims
- Writing damage estimates with (Xactimate)
- Sound knowledge of insurance policies and coverage
- Ability to travel is necessary (Approximately 25% of the time)
- CAT experience is a plus
