Role Summary
As a Technical Program Manager for Law Technology, you will lead complex law technology projects and programs that support approved business priorities and improve operational effectiveness. You will partner closely with business stakeholders from the Law department, Vendor teams, as well as technology teams to plan, govern, and execute strategic and tactical initiatives from intake through implementation, adoption, and transition to steady-state support.
This role is crucial in identifying, tracking, and communicating project dependencies and risks that may impact assigned delivery timelines and milestones and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders while maintaining strong control over delivery scope, risk, timeline, cost, and project outcomes.

You Will
Manage assigned projects and workstreams through implementation and transition to support planning, scope definition, milestone management, risk tracking, dependency management, release coordination, and operational readiness.
Support delivery of law technology initiatives across legal operations, contract management, privacy, compliance, knowledge management, workflow automation, data, and AI-enabled legal solutions.
Partner with Law Technology leadership and business stakeholders to translate approved priorities into executable project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and delivery activities.
Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans that align approved business requirements, technical workstreams, vendor deliverables, and program milestones.
Coordinate project teams and stakeholders (E.g. Product owners, business analysts, engineers, architects, cybersecurity, data teams, QA, change management, training, and support teams) to support successful implementation.
Manage project controls for assigned initiatives, including schedules, RAID logs, dependency registers, action items, decision tracking, and financial reporting.
Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, statement-of-work alignment, issue escalation, quality metrics, and project reporting.
Coordinate with architecture, information security, privacy, records, and data teams to ensure solution dependencies, reviews, and approvals are completed according to project timelines.
Identify delivery risks early, create mitigation plans, escalate appropriately, and maintain transparency with Law and D&T leadership.
Coordinate change management activities, communications, training schedules, and transition-to-support activities with designated business and technology leads.
Support continuous improvement of project delivery practices and contribute recommendations based on lessons learned and project experience.
You Have
7+ years of experience in technology program management, technology delivery, product delivery, business transformation, or related role.
Experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations, workflow automation, integration-heavy programs, data/reporting initiatives, or AI-enabled technology delivery.
Strong understanding of Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models, with the ability to tailor governance based on program complexity and stakeholder needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, budgets, delivery teams, dependencies, issues, project status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Strong technical fluency, including the ability to partner with architects, engineers, security, data, and platform teams to drive solution delivery without needing to be the hands-on engineer.
Experience developing program plans, business cases, roadmaps, status reports, RAID logs, dependency trackers, financial updates, and executive steering materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for law, business, technology, and executive audiences.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority across matrixed organizations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Relevant certifications - PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
Experience supporting Law, Compliance, Privacy, Risk, Regulatory for Financial Services, or other highly regulated business functions.
Familiarity with law technology platforms such as Contract Lifecycle Management, Matter Management, eBilling, Law Entity Management, Regulatory Change Management, eDiscovery, law hold, document management, knowledge management, or AI law assistant tools.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, reporting tools, APIs, and system integration patterns.
Familiarity of data privacy, records retention, security reviews, third-party risk management, model or AI governance, and/or law operations best practices.
Experience building training approaches, operational support models, and post-implementation benefit tracking.
Salary Range:
$118,980.00 - $195,465.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
