Job Description

Acuity is seeking an Enterprise Change & Adoption Lead to own and advance the enterprise approach for helping the organization adopt and sustain strategic change. You will be responsible for equipping leaders, engaging employees, activating a business-wide change agent network, and partnering across the enterprise to ensure new ways of working are understood, embraced, and sustained. You will connect change strategy to enterprise priorities, business outcomes, and the behaviors required for long-term transformation while building repeatable change practices, measuring adoption outcomes, and preserving Acuity’s human-first culture.

This position reports to an Assistant Vice President - Staff Functions & Business Compliance.

Internal and External Deadline to Apply: Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

You will:

  • Change strategy and ownership
    • Own the enterprise change and adoption approach; keep it practical, scalable, and true to Acuity for any future transformation.
    • Assess readiness and adoption baselines; build change plans aligned to program goals across communications, training, and engagement.
    • Establish and maintain consistent core change practices; invite local ownership to adapt implementation to their unique needs.
    • Ensure technology and automation are adopted in ways that reinforce Acuity’s human-first foundation.
  • Stakeholder engagement and sponsorship enablement
    • Identify and manage stakeholders across all areas of the organization.
    • Equip leaders to visibly drive change, use cascade tools, build sponsorship capability, and align teams through working sessions.
    • Convert executive alignment into active sponsorship that reaches all levels, including the front line.
  • Communication and engagement
    • In partnership with leadership, develop messaging that articulates why change is needed, its impact, and the expected benefits.
    • Establish two-way communication practices, including executive updates and end-user messaging aligned with “with heart” leadership.
  • Change-agent network leadership
    • Build, train, and lead a business-wide change agent network as a foundational enabler for future transformation efforts.
    • Use the network to localize messaging, surface concerns, resistance, and adoption risks early, supporting peers through change.
  • Training and adoption
    • Partner with business leaders to design role-specific training.
    • Support deployment of digital learning tools and job aids; tie enablement to active initiatives rather than broad training.
  • Change impact, risk, and resistance
    • Conduct impact assessments for new processes and systems.
    • Recommend mitigation strategies to improve adoption and address resistance.
  • Measurement and performance
    • Define adoption KPIs and readiness indicators; prioritize adoption outcomes over activity measures.
    • Refine change strategies based on adoption data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Integration and partner coordination
    • Embed change practices into the existing transformation cadence and business delivery routines.
    • Work closely with external partners to ensure ongoing engagements are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Organizational change capability development
    • Shape the change approach into a reusable and accessible Acuity model that strengthens core change capabilities and resilience.
    • Define change leadership expectations across levels.
    • Partner with other areas to embed change leadership into leadership development programs.
  • Reinforce alignment with Acuity’s 'with heart' culture.
  • Routine travel required for relevant conferences, strategic partner visits, and professional development.
  • Highly regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Familiarity with Lean, Prosci/ADKAR, or Kotter preferred.

Proven skill in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and leading through influence across a matrixed organization. Experience with change-management dashboards, collaboration tools, and training platforms.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree, certificate, or professional change-management designation is a plus.

    • Execution: Drive adoption through business partnerships and in close collaboration with strategic leaders across the organization.
    • Adaptability: Navigate a culture rooted in mission and values and a dynamic, evolving environment, meeting resistance with support rather than force.
    • Innovation: Introduce practical approaches that fit Acuity rather than applying methodology rigidly.
